In the first Test match played between these two teams, experienced batsman Virat Kohli failed to perform well and he could not score big in both the innings. While on one hand Kohli scored 6 runs in the first innings, on the other hand, in the second innings he returned to the pavilion after scoring 17 runs. Talking about Rishabh Pant, he contributed 39 runs in the first innings while in the second innings he scored a valuable century for his team.
