Guyana Amazon Warriors vs Trinbago Knight Riders: The 30th match of the Caribbean Premier League 2024 was played between Trinbago Knight Riders captained by Kieron Pollard and Guyana Amazon Warriors led by Imran Tahir. During this, the Knight Riders defeated Guyana badly by 74 runs. Batting first, Trinbago Knight Riders scored 211 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. In response, Guyana’s team was reduced to 137 runs in 18.5 overs. Nicholas Pooran scored a brilliant century and gave his team a one-sided victory.

Trinbago Knight Riders captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and decided to bat. However, the team did not have a good start. Opener Shaqkere Parris was dismissed in the first over without opening the account. After this, Jason Roy and Nicholas Pooran did not give any chance to the bowlers of Guyana. Both these players made a tremendous partnership of 152 runs for the second wicket. Jason Roy scored 34 runs with the help of 2 fours and 2 sixes in 26 balls. While Nicholas Pooran hit a century in a brilliant manner. He played a brilliant innings of 101 runs with the help of 9 fours and 8 sixes in 59 balls. Guyana’s batting was a flop
Chasing the target, Guyana Amazon Warriors also had a bad start. The first wicket fell at a score of just 6 runs. After this, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Shai Hope took over the innings. Both these players took the score to 64 runs. Gurbaz scored 36 runs in 22 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. While Shai Hope scored 28 runs in 19 balls with the help of 3 fours and 2 sixes. The middle order of the team was a complete flop and due to this 8 wickets fell for 88 runs.
In the lower order, captain Imran Tahir and Gudakesh Motie tried their best. Tahir scored 20 and Moti scored 26 runs but it was too late by then.
